Thomas Jefferson was born in 1743 to Colonel Peter Jefferson and Jane Randolph. He was born and raised in Virginia. He was previously married to Marth Wayles Skelton and they were married for 10 years before she passed away. They had two daughters.
Thomas Jefferson studied law at the College of William and Mary. He later served in the House of Burguesses. He was a member of the First Continental Congress then became the Governor of Virginia. After that he was a member of the Second Continental Congress and wrote the Declaration of Independence.
Under the United States First President, George Washington, Jefferson was the first secretary of state. Under the Second President of the United States, Jefferson was the Vice President.
Today, Thomas Jefferson is campaigning for Third President of the United States. He is a very involved member of the Democratic-Republican party.
